What are the chances of getting lung cancer?

FACTORS FOR GETTING lung cancer

1 .- Frequency: 85-90% of cancers lung occur in smokers.
2 .- Number of cigarettes / day: smokers have a risk of 10 to 20 times more likely to develop lung cancer (according to the number of cigarettes smoked per day) than nonsmokers.
3 .- Abandonment of smoking: smoking cessation for 10 years reduces the risk of lung cancer. 4 .- Trend
to suck smoke snuff.
5 .- Duration and onset of smoking: the more years of life a person smokes, the more likely you have lung cancer.
6 .- Passive smoking: has high levels of risk of lung cancer in relation to not smoke, but lower in relation to active smoking.
7 .- Association of snuff with other cancers: the snuff is responsible for 30% of cancers in general and in order of decreasing frequency are: lip, tongue, floor of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, esophagus, pancreas. .. 8 .- Marijuana: Marijuana cigarettes have less tar than to snuff.
